Shaping the Future of the Packaging Industry with "Intelligence, Digitalization, Personalization", Smart Packaging Zone Debuts at swop 2023

As Chinese industrial companies push for digital transformation towards Industry 4.0, the smart manufacturing industry has emerged as a major force shaping China’s manufacturing industry. Currently, "intelligent packaging" is a prevalent topic of discussion in the packaging industry. The use of intelligent packaging in areas such as food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals has become a significant trend. Moreover, it has the potential to serve as a new direction of development for the industry. The Smart Packaging Zone will debut at swop 2023. This featured zone will exhibit smart packaging of functional materials, structural smart packaging and information-based smart packaging, packaging/container production, packaging machinery as well as the related technical applications.

Under the slogan "Intelligence, Digitalization, Personalization," swop 2023 will launch the "Smart Packaging Zone" to display numerous intelligent plastic and paper packaging containers, packaging machines, and back-end packaging equipment. These products fully meet businesses’ requirements for intelligence, enabling them to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Many renowned exhibitors will showcase their latest machinery, including Demag, KUKA, Terry, Liuzhou Jingye, Jwell, Jiasu, ONGO, Xinlei, Zhuxin, Malex, Ounuo, Multivac, Youngsun, Zhongya, Hualian, Eiahe, Rentian, Haichuan, Yuedong, SDW, RuiDa, DISCOVER, XinLi, Ruizhi, HP Pavilion, and German Pavilion. More than 300 renowned exhibitors will display their latest machinery at swop 2023. The exhibitions cover production equipment for plastic and paper packaging containers, flexible packaging, primary and secondary packaging, anti-counterfeit packaging, mold technology, e-commerce, and logistics packaging, among others. The “Digital Transformation Promoting High Quality Development in The Packaging Industry Forum” is scheduled to take place at swop 2023. The forum is organized by the Shanghai Packaging Technology Association. Representatives from renowned food and beverage companies like Yimin Foods and Bright Dairy will share cases of product packaging digitalization with attendees. The forum aims to promote digital transformation and high-quality development in the packaging industry, and provide a platform for industry stakeholders to exchange knowledge and share experience. The forum will also invite guests from the Shanghai Packaging Technology Association, the Plastic Packaging Professional Committee of the Shanghai Packaging Technology Association, the Green Cold Chain Technology Incubation Center, and Shanghai Zijiang Enterprise Group Co., Ltd. They will present on the innovative use of digital technology in packaging design and production, along with their practical experience in automating and implementing intelligent solutions to packaging production with digital technology.
In addition, Hangzhou Yongchuang Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. will host the "YOUNGSUN Asia-Pacific International Packaging Innovation Forum 2023" at swop. Representatives from Jiangnan University, Mengniu Dairy, Want Want Group, Wuliangye Group, and China Resources Snow Breweries have been invited to attend the forum. Focusing on flexibility, personalization, and intelligence, the forum aims to provide attendees with comprehensive insights into new trends, technologies, processes, and applications in the packaging industry. Additionally, it enables them to quickly understand the key to packaging innovation.
"Product Coding" shapes the future of smart manufacture and increases the personalized needs of the terminal industry market
"Product Coding" is a technology that utilizes the cloud platform to connect consumers, companies, and circulation. It aims to provide thorough O2O marketing, anti-counterfeiting traceability, storage, and logistics solutions. The demand for "Product Coding" is on the rise in the food, pharmaceutical, medical device UDI, daily chemical, industrial internet, and industrial product markets. As a response to this trend, swop 2023 is establishing an IMU Exhibition Area located in Hall W3. Companies in the IoT signage industry will participate in the exhibition. IMU members, led by Hefei Yougao Internet of Things Identification Equipment Co., Ltd., will present their solution for "Product Coding" in the 2.0 era at the venue.
